I have been training athletes in hitting for the past 3 years. I typically work with kids 11 and up. I have worked with some of the best hitting instructors in baseball - including Craig Wallenbrock (LA Dodgers), Ed Sprague Jr (TOR Blue Jays) and Jay Gibbons (LA Dodgers) to name a few. I take what I have learned from these mentors as well as what I’ve learned through my professional experience and apply the principles and lessons to my athletes.

I begin with having my client send me hitting video that I analyze the day before. I then put their swing up next to an elite MLB player’s swing. I explain the positions the Big Leaguer gets into and why. We then go over what the player does and doesn’t do compared to the elite hitter. We then diagnose the area that needs improvement and proceed with drills from there. We use a method called “deliberate practice”.
