Playing the game of basketball for me was more than just a game, it has given me some of my greatest accomplishments. Those being, my AA degree that I received from playing at the collegiate level at Chabot Community College, discipline which has been a trait that has lead to success both on and off the court, and honored by always being the captain of every team I have been on. Leadership from the court has given me an extreme amount of success off the court.
Completing my workouts, my main goal is and always will be progress and knowledge. Whether that be specific drills, techniques, or giving athletes a better of understanding of the concepts of the game. To have a high Basketball IQ can take someones game to another level. Every athlete is different and I always begin workouts with “What do we want to accomplish and get better at?“ From there we get into drills, techniques, film, and training (Cardio, Strength, etc.) to accomplish those goals.
