My son finished his first workout/evaluation with Coach Geremy this morning. My son and I got in the car. It was obvious that he had worked hard. We sat quietly for a minute and he turns to me and says "That was great! I really like Coach Geremy!" That said it all to me and we will be working with Coach Geremy throughout the summer to get my son ready for the school season.
Coach is an excellent motivator. He effectively employs the "praise, correct, praise" method of teaching. One of the things that Coach Geremy does that I really appreciate is to explain why a drill is important and how it applies during a game. It is not just running drills for the sake of running drills. There is a goal with each drill and a lesson.
I sincerely believe that my son's skills are going to improve more in the next 3 months than they have in the last 3 years thanks to Coach Geremy's desire to teach, his patience and his eye for detail.

Coach Geremy was awesome!! I brought my son in tonight for the first evaluation session, and things could not have gone better. Within just a few minutes, Coach was able see easy-to-modify tweaks in my son's shot, that gave instant results. Coach Geremy has a calm demeanor, very knowledgeable about the sport he is teaching, and seems to have a never-ending supply of motivational "high fives" to keep you going.

The first session was the evaluation where he sees where you are at, makes small adjustments where necessary, and has some drills for you to go over. Everything seemed perfectly balanced to give him the information he needed in order to decide a gameplan for future sessions. We liked that about him. He didnt come with a mentality of "You are going to do these set of drills because thats all I know how to teach". Instead it was "Let's do these drills so I can better understand how to tailor my coaching for you in the future." To me, that is the sign of a great coach, because they are genuinly interested in your growth in the sport.

All in all, we were thoroughly impressed with Coach Geremy, and are loking forward to many sessions to come.
