I am a former Phoenix Suns, who has had a successful 14 year professional basketball playing career. I have played in all the major leagues across the globe including the NBA, FIBA, and CBA. I have been coaching players for 2 years and training players for 4 years. I have experience boys, girls, men, and women of all ages. A typical training session with me is filled with skill improvement in a fun working atmosphere. My son has played ball for many years and has had coaches yell, scream, and degrade him in front of his teammates. His confidence has been beaten down by these so called coaches. Coach Gerald just finished a second coaching session with my ten year-old son. He established a connection right away by asking him the skills he wanted to work on the most. Based on what I have observed (from a distance), he has a coaching style that puts student at ease, which makes it easier to learn. He provides great feedback throughout the session by having my son remember one key thought for the skill they are working on. Most importantly, Coach Gerald makes the sessions fun. After two sessions, it's great to see how much my son is improving while enjoying the workouts at the same time. He is looking forward to his upcoming training sessions.
