I’ve coached high school basketball in New York City and my team won a city championship this season. I work with kids in all age groups and also adults.
Hello my name is Eugene “Geno” Lawrence.. I’m a 15 year pro basketball player who’ve played in many countries in Europe. I attended St. John’s university where I currently rank 3rd all time in assist history. I’ve won multiple championships in Europe and rank amongst assist leaders in the leagues I’ve competed in as well. In high school I attired the famous Abraham Lincoln high school out of Brooklyn, N.Y. , I also won a city championship there and was name mvp of the championship game. I’m looking to spread my love and knowledge of the game of basketball to others.
First a client can expect can expect a meet and greet in the beginning. I’d like to get to know the level of basketball they’ve played up until that point and what things they fee they need to work on to get better. I’d then put them through some basic drills where I can get my own assessment on where they can and can’t do and implement drills and techniques accordingly. I’d like to record some sessions so they can see what they are doing good and what needs to be corrected for growth and development.
