Client Reviews

I am a 48 yo fitness/recreational sprinter who wanted a refresher on sprint mechanics. Eric critiqued my form and gave me helpful feedback as well as some drills to practice on my own. It was just what I needed. Thanks Coach Eric!

Sorry that it took very long tome for me to write review! My son had an amazing practice with Eric. He knows how to talk to young kids. We look forward for next online session!

Coach Eric is truly amazing, He is very patient and really takes great pride in his coaching.
Highly recommend Coach Eric. Feel very blessed that he is helping me train for my next Marathon in October and 70.3 Ironman in the spring.

It was a pleasure to work with Coach Eric for our 1st session with our daughter. She plays competitive soccer for a local well known club, and we wanted her to be the fastest "her" and improve her sprint mechanics, sprint time, running form, etc. When watching him work with her, in just a short amount of time, he was able to basically "flick a switch" with her to improve her mechanics and form from start to finish. She enjoyed working with him, and she really tried to follow his guidance when making corrections. She was a sponge to his instruction, and she said she definitely would go back for more training since Coach Eric made it an instructive and pleasant experience. He even provided us with some exercises and a homework plan on paper for her to follow on her own. We plan to book more sessions with Coach Eric, as this was just our first, and I have already recommended him to another soccer parent who was looking for a running coach for their child.

Coach Eric was a pleasure to work with! He was very prompt to reply to all my questions and requests. Helped me create a detailed and thorough workout plan for the 800m race. I would recommend him to anyone.

Coach Eric has been excellent in teaching my 13 year old son basic sprinting techniques and form, in order to fix some habits that were slowing him down. Eric's positive approach and different drills helped Ben understand what to keep in mind while sprinting, and what to work on. Eric's expertise was just what we needed! I definitely recommend Eric, and we will use him again in the future.

Eric has been a great coach to my young son (age 7) so far. He has been patient with him, treats him like an adult and gets the most out of him. Eric is also professional, easy to schedule with and is reliable. So far, he has been all I could ask for in a running coach.

Eric broke down the mechanics of sprinting to easy workable chunks and quickly pinpointed some quick technical fixes. He also provided some drills to work on at home. Highly recommended for any sport where speed/acceleration counts.

It was a pleasure to work with Coach Eric! My 17 year old son was looking to improve his distance running so we chose Coach Eric due to his extensive coaching experience. Coach Eric was very knowledgeable and friendly, and specifically targeted the training issues we were looking to address. Coach Eric was very flexible when setting up the session and the overall cost was very reasonable. My son very much appreciated the one on one training session and felt like Coach Eric's input will benefit his overall performance. I would definitely recommend Coach Eric.

Coach Eric is very professional and knowledgeable, especially has great experience with high school athletes. highly recommended.

Coach Eric met with my daughter yesterday for the first time. We were impressed with his credentials and hoped he would be a good fit for her. During the first training session, he focused on working with her on the fundamentals for the races she prefers. He ran through many different drills to help her with some of her form issues. Between each round of drills, he was certain to talk her through what she was doing well, what she could improve on and offered suggestions on how she might be able to do that. He is very mild mannered and was not loud or excitable (which is a coaching style that works well for my daughter). I did not give 5 stars as we have only had one coaching session, however we are booking additional sessions with Coach Eric in preparation for Track Season. I will provide an updated review after a few more sessions.

We have the pleasure of being working with our son Jake and he enjoys it a lot.
After the first session we noticed improvement. It is a work in progress with Jake and he is really looking forward to kept woking with Coach Eric and excited for the next following seasons of running.
Coach Eric has the experience and knowledge to help an athlet improve and excel.
Thank you Coach Eric.

Coach Eric was patient, positive and gave me great technique tips that immediately improved my next sprint workout. Really great coach. Highly recommend.

Great coaching session - took away a lot of good information and speed drills. Definitely helped my sprinting form and overall times. Would highly recommend booking a session with Coach Eric.

Coach Eric is great! I did one session with him and he helped my sprint mechanics and gave me a solid foundation to improve my speed and mechanics, I can't recommend him enough.

After the first session, my kid says he wants to do it again.

My daughter does speed and agility training 2 days a week at a facility (for the last year plus) but we weren't seeing improvement. I was referred to coach Miller by an acquaintance and thought it couldn't hurt to try out a private session.

We met with coach Miller and he evaluated and made some corrections. To see any slight improvement in one session is fantastic. My daughter was happily working hard and she said she even noticed a difference. He calmly worked with my daughters technique correcting and telling her where she was good. With girls I feel it's important that they get praise.

The next morning, mind you my daughter is pretty athletic and works out minimum 6 days a week with her team and the agility training, she woke up sore. I couldn't believe the words out of her mouth when she actually said her legs were sore and she was excited to go back again.

Eric has been coaching both my daughters and there is a noticeable increase in their speed. We've referred him to several families who have noticed the difference in spead.

I came to coach Eric looking to improve my starts and overall form and acceleration, and in just one session I saw huge improvements in my times and overall form/starts. He responds quickly and gets to the point with you. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a track and field coach

My daughter is a track and field athlete. She was trained by Coach Eric Miller starting in November 2013 through June 2016 when she graduated from high school. My daughter now attends a PAC 12 University and is a member of the University's collegiate track and field team. This would have never been possible without having Coach Eric in her life.

During those 3 1/2 years under Coach Eric's training, my daughter's performance excelled on the track in the 55M, 60M, 100M, and 200M, as well in her field event of long jumping. My daughter was able to compete at a very high level for high school track and field athletes in such events as the National Jr. Olympics, California State Indoor Championships, California State CIF Outdoor Championships, the coveted Arcadia Invitational, and the Mt. Sac Relays.

We sought his professional training and guidance to help with her sprinting form, starting block technique, and overall mechanics. Coach Eric not only improved her form and techniques, he helped her understand the sprinting processes and broke down where her form (arms, head, body posture) needed to be at certain phases within the race. It wasn't about just going fast, but understanding the phases of the race and where her form should be at those phases for maximum output. My daughter is a better track athlete because of her knowledge base regarding what she has learned from Coach Eric. He is a true mentor and we are forever grateful to him.

Coach Eric was very helpful for us. My daughter plays softball and is working to improve her base running speed. Coach Eric identified some areas for improvement and suggested some drills for her to work on. I'm excited to see how she progresses. Thanks Coach!

I learned more from Coach Eric in 3 sessions than I could have even imagined. I am a Master's athlete and I needed help with block starts and technique with my drive phase, within a short time frame. He was very positive, but also didn't sugar coat it. I appreciated his honest appraisal and coaching techniques in regards to drills and working with some of my injury issues and schedule. Thanks Coach!!!

Coach Eric has been a tremendous help to my daughter. He took the time to get to know her and her goals. She is very excited and will be much better prepared for the upcoming season. It is amazing what a difference the right coach can make. We look forward to continue working closely with Coach Eric.

we had our first coaching session with Eric last weekend and it was fantastic! Our son is looking to work and improve on his speed for track next Spring and Eric knew exactly what he needs to do that...Eric was calm, patient, kind but really helped our son to begin the process of getting faster and improving his self confidence..we look forward to working with Eric a lot over the next months..he is a wonderful coach!

Enjoyed meeting Eric and learning more about sprint mechanics!

Coach Miller is a great coach. He has an encouraging yet calm coaching style that is very positive for an athlete. He has excellent drills for technique and mechanics and knows how to organize a workout so that you feel productive each session. My son has always loved running but has learned how to enjoy a track workout with Coach Miller. His form has improved enormously in just 5 sessions. I would strongly recommend Coach Miller for any coaching need.

Coach Miller has really helped me to improve my performance so far. He has helped me to identify running mechanics that I need to improve on and has developed a great workout program to help me achieve my goals. Coach Miller is a great coach with an excellent attitude, I really enjoy working with him.
