More About Coach Eric
I have been coaching athlete for the past 30 years, and I am a USA Gold Certified Coach with USA Basketball. I work with all age groups Elementary, Middle School, High School, College and Professional athletes
I played division 1 college basketball and currently top 16 scoring leader in the history at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. In Indianapolis, I was all Marion County first team, all Sectional, All Regional and Semi State. Three sports letterman in HS and Lettered in collage on a 4 year college scholarship. My three sons all played major D1 basketball and all played professional basketball, NBA, NBA-Gleague and CBA.
First thing we would do is a dynamic warm up like all professional and college athletes do. Then we would work on ball-handling, when moving into form shooting then we would be those three areas we worked on together. We would always add an element of defense and passing depending on the time left. Once we did a few workouts together we know exactly what the athlete needed to make the fastest impact on their game and work from there for the next workout. We would recap the workout before the student left and make sure the student had an assignment to work on for the next workout.
