More About Coach Erica
I have been coaching for 7 years in technical and speed/conditioning for soccer athletes. I'm a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, hold a Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Performance, and a National "C" Coaching License. I work with 6-year-olds to 20-year-old college athletes at the D1, D2 and D3 levels.
I incorporate the soccer skill development, strength, speed and agility, and injury preventative work needed to excel as a total soccer player. I expect to work with my clients for the long-run (at minimum 3 months) so they see the best results. Most of my athletes work with me on year-round programs, and have trained with me for over 7 years. It has been amazing to see long-term athletic and human development blossom before my eyes, and I am grateful to play this role in a kid's life.
I am passionate about youth exercise science, strength and speed training, 1 v 1s, building foundational skills, motor skills, and developing confident ball control. I have trained both girls and boys soccer players, including former professional men's players from Sweden and Portugal and girls in D1, semi-pro, pro, and the Olympic Development Programs. I have worked with all ages from 6-20 years old.
I love working with athletes who are committed to getting better, and who will take what I teach to work on at home.
At the first session, I evaluate their need needs, attitude and passion to get better, and gauge how consistent they want to be with my program. If they have an insatiable desire to be consistent, I will extend a client offer and we will be on our way to working together to improve their game. I am here to teach and instill good habits in youth soccer players for a lifetime.

Every session is different based on player needs and goals.
The first session consists of an evaluation of foot skills, shooting, speed/agility, defending, 1 v 1s, and first touch, as well as overall attitude, passion and energy. After the evaluation, I extend a client offer if the athlete is 100% on board to stay with me consistently. Then, I write their long-term program to help them strengthen their strengths, and improve their weaknesses. Each session incorporates technical training as well as game situation training. I also specialize in strength and conditioning, as well as functional movement training to help prevent injury, so this will be a piece of the session, too.
I am excited to work with youth athletes who want to work hard and make a change in their performance, but also who want to develop as better humans off the pitch.

Coach Erica did an amazing job training my daughter! She learned key fundamentals that she just wouldn't have learned playing rec soccer alone (footwork, ball handling, etc.).
