More About Coach Emi
I’ve worked with all ages from elementary school through college level, pro, as well as adults at all levels. I began as basketball camp counselor in Michigan and have since worked to assist with New York City high school teams and most extensively in one on one settings with professional athletes trying to stay sharp and level up.
I’ve played professionally overseas for 8 seasons in 7 countries, most recently in Honduras in 2024. After averaging 16 points and 19 rebounds per game, my team finished league runners up.
I’m currently active in New York City in several notable leagues and hoop communities. I play for the New York athletic club women’s team, Sunday Washed Club, and Hoop York City to name a few. You can find me every summer playing in the leagues at Dyckman, Rucker, Rose Pro Classic, Gersh, etc.
Prior to my time in New York, I played four years at Albion college, was selected as second team all MIAA after leading my team as captain. Honored in 2015 as an Albion college athletic hall of fame inductee.
While each session will be tailored to the individuals skill level and goals, I believe in a fundamentally- focused training routine. Practice makes permanent, fundamentals are the foundation, discipline wins games. We can work on shooting, ball handling, conditioning and agility, and mindset
