Elijah R.

My name is Elijah Roth and I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I went to the University of Arizona where I began my coaching career as a student-manager under Sean Miller for four years. From there, I went to the University of Arkansas to become a Graduate Assistant in 2020-21 where I studied for a Master's degree and helped the Razorbacks to an Elite 8. The following year I did scouting work for a growing professional basketball company. In 2022, I moved to Sacramento and began with Sacramento State University as the Director of Scouting & Analytics, and then was promoted to an Assistant Coach the last two seasons. I am excited to bring my wealth of knowledge and skills back to Tucson to build the youth.

I love to work with kids of all skill ranges, ages and genders. I have worked with boys and girls from 10 years old to obviously college seniors, as well as numerous NBA players. From the basic foundation skills with a first year basketball player, to a high school upperclassman looking to play in college, I am here for you.

I know what it looks like at the highest level and I can help you get there. I will work with you on your fundamentals, technique, terminology, body-ball movement, finishing, conceptual movement, footwork, change of pace/direction, decision making and more!

A typical training sessions starts with an understanding of your current skills and understanding of the game. From there I will carefully craft an individualized player development program for your athlete.
