More About Coach Dylan
Experience coaching athletes ranging from ages 13-40. I have coached a MS golf team, but primarily do private sessions with 1-2 players at a time. I have worked with new golfers where we cover the rules of the game, swing fundamentals, and have 9-hole practice sessions for experience with on-course play and course etiquette. I have also worked with beginner golfers on helping them get to the next level with drills at the driving range and putting/chipping green, as well as 9 or 18 hole sessions where we discuss course management and how to hit different types of shots. I am an ACCEL certified coach.
As a golfer I won the 2023 Caddiemaster Northeast Regional Tournament and qualified for the national tournament at Pinehurst. I did not begin playing competitive golf until after college but have been caddying since graduate school and had the ability to work on my game at premier golf facilities. I have experience caddying at a variety of tournaments, including an LPGA event this past year.
My sessions are structured to help the athlete maximize what they want to work on. I have an introductory conversation with the athlete/parent/guardian to learn about the desired outcomes of training, and structure my sessions to meet these goals. Safety and enjoyment are top priorities for me, as people learn better when they feel safe and are having fun. Sessions can be adapted based on availability at driving ranges, putting/chipping greens, or at courses. My preference is a blend of practice sessions at a range and 9 or 18 hole sessions on a course where athletes have the opportunity to take what they practiced and see it for themselves on an actual course. Ideally, we can go to a course that is not busy so we can practice multiple shots and not have to be worried about pace of play or groups behind us, but I am good at managing these situations in real-time.

Adel J (Testimonial)
Approximately a year and a half ago, I ventured into the world of golf, a sport entirely unfamiliar to me. Fortunately, my friend Dylan took on the role of my coach, and the journey has been nothing short of remarkable. Having played tennis professionally, I initially found myself navigating the nuances of golf with a certain level of trepidation. However, Dylan seamlessly bridged the gap between the two sports, leveraging my tennis background as a valuable reference point. His ability to draw parallels and highlight the transferable skills not only expedited my learning curve but also made the entire process significantly more accessible. Dylan's coaching style is truly commendable. His patience, encouragement, and keen insight have been instrumental in shaping my golfing skills. He goes beyond the conventional coaching approach, tailoring each session to my individual strengths and areas for improvement. His adaptability and understanding of my background have created a coaching environment that feels both personalized and highly effective. His multi-sport integration not only provided fresh perspectives but also enriched the coaching experience, making it uniquely tailored to my interests and skills. In summary, Dylan is not just a great coach; he's a mentor who has played a pivotal role in my golfing journey. I am grateful for his expertise, his ability to connect my tennis experience with golf, and, above all, for making each coaching session an enjoyable and enriching experience. If you're looking for a coach who brings knowledge, dedication, and a personalized touch to the game, Dylan is the one.
