More About Coach Dwight
I’ve coached and trained athletes from youth to the professional level. I currently run basketball camps and provide private and group skills training focused on fundamentals, footwork, and game IQ. I’ve worked with both beginner and advanced players, helping them improve for school, AAU, and international play. My experience as a former pro athlete and years of on-court training have shaped a proven approach to player development.
Played at The University of Kansas (2x Big 12 champ, 2x Elite 8), Western Kentucky University (NIT Final Four), played with the New Orleans Pelicans SummerLeague team (NBA), pro career in Italy, France, Turkey, Japan, Belgium, Venezuela, and a gold medalist with the Bahamas National Team. Now focused on developing athletes through elite, experience-based training.
Clients can expect high-energy, detail-oriented sessions focused on fundamentals, footwork, shooting, finishing, ball-handling, conditioning, and game-specific drills, tailored to position, skill level, and goals, with an emphasis on mechanics, basketball IQ, and applying skills in real-game situations.
