More About Coach Duane

I have coached youth track runners at many disciplines starting from 100 meters up to cross country. I have coached elementary to middle school students. I am originally from California where I coached many of my athletes at UCLA .

In high school I was a state champion in 800 meters and also placed 10th in the state of California in cross country. I then competed at USC, garnering multiple all American honors. I ran in London Olympic Games, placing 4th and became 2nd fastest American ever at the 800 meter distance.

My clients can expect a little bit of everything from dynamic drills, warm up, speed, power, endurance and competitive spirit. I am here to motivate and propel you to be the best you can be. There is always room in everyone to be better than what they think.

Great start to new training

“Coach Solomon rocks” my daughter said and I agree. He was very technical and efficiently used the hour session to not only show her what she was doing wrong but taught her how to correct it thru the many drills he presented. Thank you. We will do more sessions but next time Carly said she will beat you in the plank!

Coach Duane was an excellent coach, He worked with my son for a few sessions and he was very patient and also very good at explaining different drills and correcting them if necessary . I also had quite a few questions and he was very informative and explained everything in detail. His experience as a world class athlete was definitely beneficial to the sessions. We will definitely be continuing sessions with Coach Duane when we are in the Orlando area.
