A normal session begins corrective exercise specific to each client or athlete. Starting with self myofascial release (foam rolling) targeting possible overactive or tight areas causing muscle imbalances or postural dysfunction. That progresses into self mobilization of the hips, gluteal muscles, and thoracic spine to increase mobility where it is needed. From there we perform simple abdominal exercises to warm important core muscles to stabilize the lumbar spine.

Programs will vary and differ with each client or athlete's specific fitness level and goals. But once the initial corrective exercises are completed then an example programs is listed below.

Example:
17 year old High School Quarterback (Goal: Increase Agility, Arm Strength, & Improve Reading Defensive Coverages)
No orthopedic or health issues and has been training for at least 1 year.
Today's Focus: Throwing Mechanics, Footwork, & Pre-Snap Read

- Dynamic Warm-up: Challenging balance, coordination, flexibility, endurance, speed, and strength.
- Throwing Mechanics: Throw Progression from 1/2 Kneeling, to Tall Kneeling, to Standing.
- SAQ: Ladder Drills with throwing finish. Dropback drill with foot fire.
- Pre-Snap Reads (Discussion).
- Live Throws: Dropback Progression and Route Tree
- Live Situational Throws: Pre-Snap Read with correct route call to beat coverage and then execution of dropback and throw.
- Core and Rotator Cuff Development Circuit: Plank Pull Throughs (Thread the Needle), Reverse Crunches, 1/2 Kneeling Manual Diagonal Patterns (PNF), Comerford Hip Complex, Scapular Clock, 1/2 Kneeling Manual Isometric Shoulder External Rotation at 90. (2-3 sets through circuit).
- Cool down: Thoracic Rotation and mobilization. Self myofascial release (foam roll) and static stretching of specific tight/overactive areas.
- Review recorded video to analyze mechanics and technique and give homework handout to read and review for reading coverages.

Excellent coach, talented at finding creative work out plans to accommodate injuries or weaknesses, and combat boredom with unique plans for each session.

Upon meeting Drew he was very welcoming to my son and I and explained what the lesson would consist of. In an effort to evaluate my sons physical capabilities, mechanics, agility, etc. he conducted multiple different stretching, movement and reaction drills. We look forward to continue our training with Drew as our schedules allow. Chip Morley

Coach Drew was great! He immediately made me feel comfortable, he's very down to earth and relatable. He is extremely knowledgeable and well versed in the science of exercise mechanics, techniques, body composition and nutrition yet very straight forward about their real-world applicaton to my workout.
I would recommend him to anyone, no mater their level or goals!

I was really nervous going to a training session. My experience in the past with trainers was really negative, but I knew I needed help to get myself back to where I want to be and to do what I want to do, and I'd heard really great things about him. Drew's overall energy was positive and immediately put me at ease. I loved that he taught as we went through the session. Can't wait for the next one!

Drew is great! Extremely knowledgeable and really puts in the time and effort to make a program that's specific to your body and goals. I would definitely recommend him!

Hands down the best coach I have ever had. He knows what he's doing and always helps you improve and get much better at your craft. He is just overall a great coach. I highly recommend Coach Drew to anyone looking for a great quality coach and wants to get better at what they do. 5 out of 5 stars.

Drew laid out a great workout plan for me after his initial assessment. He corrected my form on several exercises and gave my a customized program based on my goals. After our session, Drew followed up with several emails with pictures showing the correct form and technique of the exercises in my program. He also sent me a schedule for my workout the following week with things that I could do on my own. I highly recommend Drew to anyone looking for a great workout on the Cape.
