Doryan H.

Doryan Harris is from Desoto, Texas. He graduated from Mansfield Lake Ridge High School in Texas in 2016. He helped lead his high school to the 5A State Championship game as they finished with a record of 15-1 and as one of the top teams in the state of Texas. Doryan attended Southern Nazarene University and graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management in May of 2020. He followed that up with gaining his Master’s Degree in Sport Management in May of 2022. His father, Odie Harris Jr., played eight years in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Phoenix Cardinals, and the Houston Oilers. He finished his career playing two years in the CFL.
Doryan was a four year starter at SNU. He played defensive back. He also returned punts and kicks. Doryan made the Great American Conference All Academic team all four years. He finished top 7 in the conference in passes defended in each of his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior seasons. He finished his career with 27 pass breakups, eight interceptions, returning two for touchdowns which is tied for the all time record. Doryan finished his career 1st all-time in passes defended at SNU, 1st all time in average yards per punt return, and 3rd all time in interception return yards. He also set the record for the longest fumble return in school history with a 98 yard touchdown return in 2021. In 2018, the SNU defense ranked 16th nationally in pass defense as they proved to be one of the top secondaries in the country.
Doryan had the opportunity to fill in as an intern assistant coach in the Spring of 2022 for the SNU Football Program. He coached the Safeties and helped out in some other areas in the secondary. He followed that up by being a part of the Performance Course staff at Southlake Carroll High School in the Summer of 2022, coordinating workout sessions and demonstrating various sprint and movement drills for the football team and other sports athletes. Doryan is passionate about the game of football. Dealing with injuries throughout his college career allowed him to realize that he is just as passionate about coaching and giving back as he was about playing. Doryan’s goal is to stay around the game and gain as much knowledge as possible so that he will be able to pass on that knowledge to other athletes and help develop them into great football players as well as great men. He works with all age groups.

I am a Skill Development Specialist. I focus on position specific skill development for all football skill positions. I provide 1on1 Skills Training as well as group training that is tailored to your specific needs. I also provide Speed/Agility training provided for all athletes. Sessions with me go in progressions. We start with mastering the basics and mechanics. We move to sharpening the fundamentals. And progress deeper into advanced movements that will take your game to the next level and separate you from the competition. I work with all DBs/LBs/WRs/RBs.
