I worked as a counselor at the University of Fairfield summer camp from 2011 to 2012, coaching the 8-12 age group.
I have coached the 8-12 age group at the University of Fairfield summer camp.

I currently provide private basketball training and am looking to grow my business in partnership with CoachUp.
Yes, I currently hold a CPR and AED certification.
I was an honor roll student-athlete. I played and started varsity in my sophomore year, taking on a significant role. In my junior year, I was named co-captain, and by my senior year, I became the team captain.
I competed at the collegiate level.
After high school, I was a qualifier but decided to take the junior college route, playing in California. I then finished my basketball career at the University of Bridgeport.
I was an honor roll student-athlete throughout high school, started varsity as a sophomore, was named co-captain as a junior, and became the captain in my senior year. Additionally, I had a few Division 2 and Division 3 offers coming out of high school.
A typical session with me starts with a proper warm-up, including stretches, because taking care of the body is crucial for longevity in the game. Every session is customized based on the player's skill level and what they need to improve on. The first session is always an assessment where I evaluate their strengths and areas that need development.
Once we get into the workout, I like to begin with ball control—every dribbling drill is done on the move, incorporating weighted balls to enhance hand strength and control. Since basketball is a dynamic game, I emphasize game-like movement to prepare players for real in-game situations.
After dribbling, we move into form shooting, focusing on refining mechanics to improve shooting efficiency. From there, we progress through different shooting scenarios:
Catch-and-shoot drills to develop quick and confident shooting.
Escape dribble shooting to help players create space.
Shooting off the dribble and screens, simulating defensive pressure.
I love to finish this portion with the Ray Allen drill, which reinforces shooting repetition under game-like fatigue.
Next, we work on finishing at the basket, incorporating contact to simulate in-game situations. Guards, in particular, need a strong floater, so I dedicate time to mastering that. We also work on slashing drills, cutting to the basket, slipping screens, and creating familiarity with finishing in traffic.
To wrap up, we finish with 20 free throws—with a twist. For every missed free throw, the player does one pushup, reinforcing mental focus and accountability.
Every session is high-energy, game-relevant, and designed to push players to elevate their skills and confidence on the court.
