More About Coach Diego

I coached football and track at the division 2 college level at Augustana College and at the high school level (Gross point North High School, Gross point MI and Tottenville high school, Staten Island NY ). l was a volunteer coach. I also have experience coaching youth aging from 4-18yrs. I was an Volunteer Coach at Augustana College for one while while I was finishing up my MA, I was a paid track and field coach at the high school level. I have been coaching since 2010. I am also First Aid and CPR certified.

I've played football and ran track at the high school and college level. I received a full football scholarship to at Michigan State University as a wide receiver. I played 2 and a half years there primarily on special team. I was sidelined do to knee injuries. I graduated from MSU with a bachelors degree in Sociology. After graduating from MSU I attended Augustana college where I was granted and cleared by the NCAA to play 2 years of football with Augustana College. I also ran track and field receiving a scholarship to play football and a track and field scholarship so that my graduate school would be paid in full. While at Augustana college I received an award from Allstates Good Works team from my football accimplishments and the positive contributions I've done in the community. For track and field I broke 2 school records, set the conference record and was nationally ranked to where I was able to race among NCAA division 2 athletes placing 9th over in the 60 meter dash.

A typical session varies on the athletes athletic ability. For a entry level athlete I would start off with a basic warm up and drills,
(Dynamic warmup butt kicks, high knees, hamstring stretch, quadriceps stretch, forward lung with a twist, side lung, strides, water)

I teach, in detail, proper motor mechanics of the body. The first couple of sessions will be more knowledge and teaching moments.
