Depending on which martial art you chose to learn, a class plan will be developed based on the goals on the individual! Boxing will include hardcore endurance/ conditioning training, along with extensive mitt work, and an emphasis on the basics (footwork, head movement, etc). If it is Tae Kwon Do that you are looking for, I will evaluate the skill level on the athlete. Beginner sessions will include basic footwork and basic combinations. More advanced athletes will do advanced combination kicking, with emphasis on strategy and tactical deployment of each combination.
Self Defense is a whole different session plan compared to competitive arts. Self Defense training will include repetition of techniques used to control, attack or disable an opponent that is bigger or stronger. Emphasis will be placed on technique.
