I have been giving private football and basketball sessions in Clayton, NC for the past 8 years. My coaching is based on the principles I learned from my own personal experience(s) and coaching. Sessions incorporate beneficial drills I found helpful as a high school, collegiate and professional player. I teach athletes not only how to compete but essentially what it takes to be successful. There is something to be learned in each competitive event win or lose that correlates in life's journey.

Most recently, I was inducted into my collegiate sports hall of fame, names as one of the greatest athletes in school history. I am the all-time leading defender in conference and school history. I have awards such as National Player of the Year, All-American, and All-Conference.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels. I see faster results and joy coaching teenagers due to maturation. My specialties include footwork, agility, and coordination, foundation principles, simplicity, eliminating unnecessary movement, and developing mental toughness.

I start my sessions with a moderate warm up, followed by skill and footwork development, conditioning, skill specific drills and repetition.

Each session should conclude with the athlete(s) feeling a sense of accomplishment that they are develpoing an egde over the competition.
