More About Coach David
Typically work with middle school, high school and college players. Currently coaching at yes I can basketball a local camp in charlotte. Have been training on the side since about 2014.
Have coached/trained and played with overseas pros and nba players.
Former basketball player at Division 1 and nationally ranked Queens University of Charlotte. Was a 4 year student athlete and captain of the team my senior year.
Some of my aau teammates growing up were Jeremy Lamb & Alfarouq Aminu and we played for the GA Stars aau team so competing with guys such as that really improved my game. Several other players who I grew up with are currently playing overseas professionally.
Difficulty of the workouts depend on the skill level of a client but work on footwork, ball handling , shooting, increasing athleticism and improving defense. I like to try new drills to challenge the client such as two ball dribbling or one of my favorites is one hand dribbling while the other is throwing a tennis ball. I have learned so many drills from the player side of training with NBA pros back in atlanta where I am originally from.
