Earned a scholarship at Merrimack College, NCAA Division I. Later transferred to Trinity College in CT. Played juniors for the Valley Junior Warriors (EJHL). Played High School hockey at Phillips Academy Andover.
Each client's needs are unique and so are the practice plans. I work with the individual to see what specifics he/she wants to work on and we build from there. I make each session as game like as possible, I include reading and reacting into every situation so that a player can see how what we are doing translates directly into games.

My 11-year-old son and 2 x other teammates had their first “Shooting Session” with Coach David and they loved it. In a one-hour session, he was able to teach the kids new shooting techniques, quick release skills and a drive to the net focus! In addition to making sure the kids were learning new hockey skills, Coach David made sure that the 11-year-old boys were having “Fun”! The young hockey players will be continuing their “Shooting Sessions” with David over the next couple of months, which I know will result in plenty of pucks in the net.

Having my daughter works with Coach Dave was a great experience. Being on actual ice makes a huge difference Coach Dave heard our conversation and my daughter talked about what she wanted to work on and he immediately had specific drills for her to use. Coach Dave was very knowledgeable about the specifics of a skill this was evident as soon as he started working with my daughter. My daughter is 15 years old and plays Tier I Hockey. For the first time in a long time I have felt I got my moneys worth in an hour of skills training. Even though it’s a little more money to be on real ice it was well worth it.

Today was my 6 year old son's first session with Coach Dave. He had an absolute blast and was smiling the whole time! Dave took his time identifying areas that he needed improvement in and spent time patiently showing him the correct way to do the drill or technique. Dave is excellent working with a young child who is a beginner and made the session fun for him. He can't wait to go back to train with Coach Dave and we'll definitely be "regulars" in his schedule.

Tyler has been working with Dave for three years, and is now playing for Dave on the Micro Ice Polar Bears. We've seen a remarkable transformation in Tyler from a skill standpoint, but most important, his confidence on the ice has grown exponentially. Especially at this age, Micro Ice focuses on the kids enjoying the sport of hockey while developing skill with small-area games and drills.
