More About Coach Darron

I started coaching my freshman year in High School after a shoulder injury I suffered I then was informed by my doctor that due to my shoulder injury I will no longer be allowed to play competitive baseball.

I started giving individual and group baseball sessions in and around Rhode Island soon after which I've been doing for 9 years. All of my coaching is based on the principles I learned from my own private coach, whilie incorporating drills I found most helpful as a young athlete and high school player.

I enjoy working with players of all ages and levels, but I especially enjoy the challenge of coaching teenagers, because with them I believe I can make the biggest difference in their game. My job as a coach is to prevent injury while encouraging, teaching and challenging all of my players.

I start all my sessions with a run, which leads into warm-ups, conditioning, and tons of repetition.

Depending on the need(s) of the athlete we focus on either pitching, batting or fielding.

I personally like players to be experienced in more then one position, which will help them improve in their game a great deal. During sessions multiple times the athlete may switch from infield to outfield.
