More About Coach Darrell
My experience with coaching and training is not a very long resume, however I have had quite a bit of experience. I have mainly coached at the Little League level, (OL) Under Armour Flag Football league,(HC) as well as coached at the High School level (OL).All of my training and coaching experience was done mainly in Manatee & Sarasota County. I am open to age groups, but I typically say 6 and up. I have not received any coaching or training certificates, but I am CPR certified.
In my 13 year career as a Lineman, I have played mostly at the Minor League level, as well as the Arena level, and college.13 years in Minor League I have reached the Championship game 8 times, and won once. I have been apart of 9 undefeated regular season teams out of 13 years. I have spent time with a couple of different organizations in the cities of (Bradenton, Tampa, Orlando, Land O Lakes) all of which are located in Florida. I’ve been named Offensive Lineman of the year 3 times, and named to a few All-Star teams.
A client can expect to put in some great work, enhance their game in every aspect. I typically focus on drills that helps with explosion, finishing the play, proper technique ect...Examples would be (Pass protection, Run blocking, Pulling) Start all workouts with a warmup, then proceed into the session with normally drills. Drills using ladder for footwork, medicine balls to help with explosive drills, cone drills to help pulling abilities down the line of scrimmage. All sessions does depend on the age of the client and areas of the game that can use the most work.
