More About Coach Darius
I have spent the past two years coaching high school football. I also have trained high school seniors with weight-lifting and running form. I am very experienced with fitness, running, or any type of training or weight loss that people are interested in.
I was a High School All-American and played in the Under Armour game in Orlando, FL. I was runner-up in Mr.Football in the state of Indiana and was named Student-Athlete of the Year as well as Player of the Year. First Team All-State and All-County all four years. My other sports in high school were Track&Field, Basketball, Baseball, and Wrestling. Named to the All Big Ten Freshman Team as well as named Big Ten player of the week on three different occasions. I had a lot of track offers but my first love was football. In High school made it to the state meet every year but my senior year due to injury. As a freshman I finished 5th in the state in the 400 meter dash. Broke the freshman state record by running the fastest time as a freshman of 48.8. Ran a 21.7 in the 200 meter dash. Helped the team finish in the top 3 of the 4by1 and 4by4 events. Also ran 10.8 in the 100 meter dash.
A typical session with me varies on what specifically you would like to have improved or worked on. But I start all my sessions with a nice long warmup so I can point out body functions such as flexibility and stiffness in the hips. I also love to do wall series work because it helps a lot on your running form and knee drive.
