More About Coach Daniel
I have worked with players of all ages and skill levels ranging from Junior Varsity and Varsity including the 2013 New York State Class A Finalist Williamsville South HS. I have experience coaching in American Legion Baseball including the 2015 New York State Legion Baseball champion West Seneca Post #735. Lastly, I have held positions at the collegiate level as a hitting and infield coach at both NCAA (Hilbert College 2015-2016) where we became the first team in school history to reach the conference playoffs and JUCO (Southwest Tennessee CC 2016-2017) schools.
At the NCAA D3 level I was awarded All-Conference, All-Sportsmanship, and All-Academic awards in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference for 2015. I finished 4th in the conference in batting average while only standing in at 5'7 where no other hitter in the top 10 was under 5'10. I lead our team in hits, batting average, runs, and RBIs at Hilbert and finished 4th in school history for career batting average. I have also been awarded various other awards throughout high school and American Legion Baseball such as All-Division and character/integrity-based program awards such as the Hansen Award (HS baseball team award for leadership) and the Fenton Award (Legion team award for character).
The first step in working with any player is evaluation. I will work with the athlete to discover strengths and weaknesses in order to develop an action plan to turn weaknesses into strengths and make strengths even stronger. You can expect a relaxed and fun learning environment where the player can come to LEARN and not just be given a set of drills.

Jack told me tonight that it was the most fun he's ever had at a baseball practice. Great job - your effort, engagement, and commitment to this team and baseball has been exemplary.
Thomas Ruggiero - Parent (Testimonial)
Coach, I have been coaching a long time and have seen many different ways coaches have gone about things and I want to let you know this is the best experience Tommy has had playing the game...and for that, a big thank you to you for the great year you gave him. Your positive messages and energy was noticeable (and very much appreciated) and I hope you keep doing the things you have done this year for many, many years going forward. Again, thanks...and please keep the positive vibes and energy going every time you show up at the park!
