I have been involved in competitive Fast pitch softball for over 35 years. I was trained by an olympic level and highly regarded college coach and played at the highest level on a traveling men's fast pitch team.

I have been coaching, pitching, catching and hitting for over 25 years both privately and as a high school coach. I have been involved in many clinics and seminars nationally. have taken my summer teams to Colorado and California, and Florida, with proven results ,

A typical session involves fundamentals and mental focus. The main focus being and fundamental repetition and mental focus, i specialize in pitching fundamentals, catching postioning and calling a game, hitting and bunting and slapping, knowing the pitcher and focus.

As a player i was twice voted most outstanding pitcher in regional tournaments, was voted as a member of nationals all tournament team, voted outstanding hitter in four regional tournaments with a career .300 batting average, tossed 4 no hitters and two perfect games.

As a coach have lead many of my teams to tournament championships, coached my 14U team to a fourth place finnish in the prestigous Sparkler tournament in Colorado Gold Division at the time the highest finnish by an Oregon team.

Also have umpired softball at all levels for 20 years and have been selected to umpire at both Oregon and Washington State tournaments.

First and foremost i first like to sit down and talk with the athlete, get to know what she wants , her goals , what she thinks she needs work on. Then i would proceed to work out the athlete on basic fundamentals , evaluate and look at where the athlete is in her particular area, throwing , mechanics, positioning, stance. After this initial meeting and workout, again sit down and discuss with the athlete what our course of action we are going to take, it has to be a joint agreement, working together gets results its not my way or the athletes way its both of us working together to find success.

So far so good. Coach Dale was great. He quickly could tell what her weaknesses were and right out of the gate coached to improve them. He has a very good way of critiquing without hurting feelings. By the end of the first session she was more confident and excited about the next session. You could tell he knows what he’s talking about and his coaching methods are perfect. If you’re thinking it will be awkward or uncomfortable it’s not. He instantly comes in fast and gets started and everything was great. Booking more sessions now

Great session. Both my daughter and I were very happy that we scheduled the session with Coach Dale. He addressed listened and was great in explaining the hows and whys you do things. Coach was encouraging and patient in teaching her the mechanics that she did because she was told to but not told why and what the outcome of her movements would be. Coach Dale has been amazing to work with. He really knows his stuff. After one session my daughter was excited about softball again. He has been working on pitching mechanics with her and there is already a big improvement. Her change up is coming along very nicely. We will continue to meet with him.
