He works hard to build relationships with athletes because he makes a point to get to know his players. I have watched Curtiss prepare practices, coach in games, engage with student athletes, direct staff, manage games, perform facility maintenance, promote student success, promote athletes to colleges, breakdown film, and communicate with parents. Most importantly, I have had many conversations with Curtiss about the role athletics should play within the school setting and the impact it can have on student athletes.
