I am a Level 1 USA Track and Field coach with more than 30 years of personal track and field experience as an athlete competing as a nationally ranked youth, collegiate and professional athlete. I specialize in coaching of youth (5-18 ages), collegiate, elite and masters division athletes. My coaching credentials include community, high school and private coaching with Georgia High School Association, AAU and USATF track clubs, Atlanta Track Club and international federations. I am based in Atlanta, Georgia and serve clients and athletes in the metro and surrounding areas. I also have conducted clinics and camps nationally and internationally.

Ranked nationally as an AAU/USATF Youth, earning a full athletic scholarship to the University of Texas at Austin in the sprints. As a collegiate, I earned several NCAA and Southwest Conference titles and won a gold medal and set a World Record as a member of the 1992 World University Games 4x100 relay. Professionally, I ran nationally and internationall for six years and participated in the 1992 and 1996 Olympic Trials.

My specialty is speed and sprint development for all events, however, sprints, hurdles, jumps and multi-events. I begin with a detailed fitness assessment to determine the skill level, condition and talent base of the athlete and prepare a customized training plan and create levels of progression and periodization for event specific training.
