I have been an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer since 2003. I have trained people as young as 12 years old and one of my current, long training clients is 78 years old. Most of my clients are people that train to become fit and stay fit. That means that I build training routines that are meant to strengthen and condition the whole body, instead of focusing primarily on improving specific skill sets. However, as it has been the case with one of my clients, specific training is also available; for example if you are looking to be a better tennis player, golf player, MMA athlete, etc, I will develop a training program that will improve your performance in that particular sport.

I have competed as an amateur bodybuilder in my country of origin, Romania, and as rugby player, both in Romania and the U.S. At the present time, personally I train as a crossfitter.

Prior to the beginning of any training routine, I provide prospective clients with a health history questionnaire that will ensure that a person does not suffer from any health issues that could be aggravated by physical training. If health is not a concern, than all prospective clients go through flexibility and strength assessment tests which provides me with the information necessary to customize training programs. Conditioning tests are also available for those that don't suffer from any lower back or lower body ailments. Furthermore, prospective clients can expect training sessions characterized by attention to form and technique. The training sessions include exercises and routines that are meant to improve a person's fitness and physical shape.

Even though I have only been training with Cristian Mariuta for a few months, I have noticed a huge improvement in my workout, with increased muscle size and reduced fat.
