Craig Shaver was an assistant football coach at North Central High School for 2 years, where I was the head football coach for 6 years. I am currently the Defensive Coordinator / Linebackers coach at Northwest Christian High School. Craig has 9 years experience coaching football at the high school level as well as with the Spokane Shock. While coaching at North Central, Craig was the Varsity Quarterbacks and Head JV coach. Craig was also the signal caller on game nights. Craig does an excellent job coaching the kids up. He is a positive leader and builds great relationships with the players. He is very detailed in his planning. I have seen quarterbacks get better in their mechanics, decision making and ability to read a defense. Another great aspect of Craig's coaching ability is his versatility, he is able to coach multiple positions or will prepare himself to coach a position he might not have much experience with. I greatly enjoyed having Craig Shaver on my staff. I believe Craig and I have developed a life-long friendship and highly recommend him.

It is a pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Craig Shaver. I worked with Craig during the summer of 2015 at Mead High School. Craig came to us as we were beginning our football program in the summer of 2015. He volunteered his time and attention for two weeks with our 9thh-12th Quarterbacks. Craig was upbeat, communicated well and was ready and willing to learn our style of play. Even though I didn't get to coach a football season with Craig, I assume he would have done a great job for us.
