More About Coach Cort

I specialize in training the skill positions: Quarterbacks, Receivers, Tight Ends, Running Backs. I typically work with ages ranging from 5-18, but any age is welcomed for inquiry. I have experience coaching and assisting youth and high school level clients.

I am a former Collegiate Quarterback at Union College. Before that, I am a Fordham Prep graduate and Football Alumni as well as a Poly Prep Football Alumni for 2 years. I have been an About U athlete for the last 4 years, in association with the Harlem Jets. I played youth football with the Yorkville Eagles during my middle school days.

Every athlete will begin with a thorough dynamic warm up to prepare the mind and the body that involves stretching, mobilization, and movement. The athlete will then transition into position related movements that involve footwork, sprint mechanics, etc. The athlete will then proceed to drill work. This will begin with a focus on fundamentals and detail. Drill work will progressively increase from fundamental work to more complex and complete work. Athlete will finish with a cool down segment, beginning with lower intensity fundamental position related drill work and movements, while ending with a light stretch, foam roll, or mindfulness session for the body.
