More About Coach Conan
I am a Certified Level 1 USATF Track and Field Coach and a Certified ISSA Trainer. I typically work with athletes age 7 and up and I have worked with track and field athletes, clients looking to burn fat and gain muscle, as well as basketball players, boxers, volleyball players and Spartan Racers as well. I specialize in improving speed and explosiveness a I was able to train athletes to clear hurdles, improve their running technique and their athleticism as well as burn fat and gain muscle. I also coach other sports such as SPARTAN racing, Boxing, Kick Boxing and general fitness.
I began running track when I was in middle school and I started as a hurdler. Even though I was small for my age and not the best athlete, I earned the Award for showing the most improvement. After that I continued to train and focus on improving on growing as big, strong and athletic as possible. I continued hurdling, and I still was not where I wanted to be until one day things changed for me. It was my senior year of high school and a coach had us doing single leg jumps and he said that I have potential to be a triple jumper. That season, I competed in the Big South Conference Meet and earned 4th place. I have never had this much success as an athlete before. A few years later, I triple jumped for the club team at East Carolina University, and I came in 2nd and 3rd place for the Triple and Long Jump, respectively. I later injured my left knee and I am now feeling much better and continuing to train. I am now training to compete at the elite level.
Before our first session I will host a zoom meeting or phonemail with you to speak about your goals. After doing that, the first athletic session will involve me completing a few simple tests to see how you move. After that we will start with a warm up drill circuit and a simple workout to see how your body responds. Based on the information that I gained from our call and our session, I will design a plan for you and adjust it according to your needs.

Coach Conan is awesome! He is encouraging and positive, but also pushes my son without being a browbeating overbearing drill sergeant. He is very communicative and puts forth a plan for him with goals and timelines. Before each session, he clearly states the objectives for the session. My son's goal is to improve his sprint and long jump, and Coach was able to identify some low hanging fruits in terms of techniques that helped my son during his first meet. Coach also offers valuable tips about hydration, diet, sleep, rest, and motivation. He really tries to get to know my son and serves as a mentor. I highly recommend him.
