I've coached pitchers at Sickles High School in Tampa for the last 8 seasons, including the 2023 Florida state title. I teach mechanics and the mental side of pitching. Sickles HS, Tampa, 8 seasons. 2023 Florida state champions. Specialties: pitching.
I pitched 7 seasons in the big leagues for the Cardinals, Indians, and Dodgers (2008-2014). 133 career saves, 3.51 ERA, 362 strikeouts in 393 games. I was Cleveland's closer and a two-time All-Star (2011, 2012). In 2012 I finished 39 saves. I closed at the University of Miami, went to two College World Series, and St. Louis took me in the first round (42nd overall) in 2006. Miami Sports Hall of Fame, class of 2024. I also pitched for Team USA in 2005 and 2007. Miami 2004-2006 (20 college saves). Team USA 2005 and 2007. MLB: STL, CLE, LAD.
