More About Coach Chris

Being a former Division 1 Quarterback, I have a plethora of coaching knowledge I was exposed to. I have played at 3 different colleges, under 5 different quarterback coaches. I spent a spring semester as a grad assistant coaching quarterbacks, as well. I have done group quarterback session training, where I coached quarterbacks from grade school to college.

Three-year starting quarterback at the University of Maine, helping the Black Bears win the 2018 CAA title and Leading them to the FCS Final Four. He racked up 6,091 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns in 28 games, twice ranking in the top-five in passing yards per game. Spent 1 season at Liberty University, playing in six games with one start, tallying 197 passing yards and four touchdowns. Spent final year at Towson University, as starting quarterback and Captain.

A session with me starts with a very consistent and planned warm-up. My philosophy is that quarterbacks warm up to throw, not throw to warm up. Before even picking up a football, they would be taken through many different drills to properly warm up their throwing arm, core, hips, and legs. These drills would change each session to make sure I give clients different options and variability.
I would then focus on the process of throwing. Mechanics, technique, and footwork. All these specifics would be drilled and taught first, then applied to a throwing scenario. A client must have a foundation and a base before applying it. Strengths and weaknesses will be identified so we can focus on exactly what the client needs.
Drills would follow. A focus on a different part of the quarterback process would be focused on. Pocket footwork, having a good base, throwing drills, throwing on the run drills, off-platform throwing, etc.
These drills would then be applied to a real game-like scenario. Throwing routes, defenders rushing, breaking the pocket and much more.
