Chase Cohen

Although my coaching experiences are limited, throughout the last few years of my professional career, I found myself more and more inclined to help the younger athletes of the group make small adjustments to better their performance. I found a passion in making small differences for one or two guys at a time, and be guidance for a “younger me”. Years ago, I helped coach a youth baseball team in my hometown near Atlanta, Georgia, and I am open to working with any age. I am not a certified coach or trainer, I am no expert in today’s analytics or technology by any means, but what I can teach is intent, focus, athleticism, all while having a blast doing it, and making the game/getting better at it an enjoyable experience.

I played Division 1 baseball at Georgia Southern University from 2016-2018, had a starting pitcher spot in the weekend rotation my first two years, and became the closer in my junior season. I was drafted in the 9th round of the MLB draft in 2018 by the Oakland Athletics where I spent the last 7 years working my way up through the organization. After a few years in AA, I made it to AAA and after early struggles found success at one of the highest levels of the game. I was named an organizational all-star in the year 2022 after a great season in the closer role at the AA level.

A typical session can be based on client preference, progress that has been made already, or can consist of a collection of basic to advanced drills that I have worked through, been taught, seen utilized through other players, some social media, or anything in between. My goal is to make my clients as athletic as possible in the roles that they need to perform in, and take pride in the progress they can make, and the potential that they will begin to see through that progress.
