More About Coach Charlotte

I am a certified Personal Trainer with Ace Fitness, as well as a USATF Certified Level 1 Coach, and I also have my UESCA Certification (certified Running Coach) I have been coaching since 2020 and enjoy working with all age groups when it comes to running. My passion is running and gaining as much knowldege as I can, to help athletes accomplish their goals.

I have always enjoyed running and did cross country and track in Jr. High. In high school I did cross country and 1 year of track. I suffered too many injuries throughout those years, which led to some serious burnout years during college and after. I became a mother of 3 boys and I came back to running faithfully in 2013. I have qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2017, ran Boston in 2018, qualified for Boston in 2019 and am going back to Boston this April of 2020. I love running, I love talking about running, I love reading about running, and the biggest thing I love, is helping someone find that same passion of running that I have!

Each session could/ would look a bit different. Depending on each client's needs and their goals. If it's a client's first 5k or PR'ing on a marathon; we'd discuss/work on biomechanics, form drills, speed drills, long runs, discuss their training schedule/tweak schedule where needed. If they don't have a training schedule disuss their needs and have one created to fit their individual needs and emailed later. Discuss resistance/strength training, showing moves they can incorporate at home. The more I know what the client's goal is, the better I can mold a session to their specific need/s.

Coach Charlotte was exceptionally prepared for our meeting, listened astutely to my problem areas, was able to watch my form and give some small suggestion but more importantly helped me create a strength training routine that would help long term to adjust my weak areas.
