More About Coach Chad
Coaching athletes has been one of my greatest joys—both challenging and deeply rewarding. I’ve coached youth soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball, including guiding my daughter from her first season through high school, coaching my middle son in basketball, and my youngest in soccer. I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer and hold current CPR/AED certification, bringing safety, expertise, and enthusiasm to every athlete I work with.
Sports have been a lifelong passion—from baseball and basketball to football and track and field. I played two years of high school basketball and track, and four years of high school football, serving as the starting quarterback in my junior and senior seasons. I continued competing at Orange Coast College in track and field, where I qualified for the state championships throwing the javelin. These experiences shaped my competitive drive, discipline, and love for helping others reach their athletic potential.
Speed, Agility & Quickness (SAQ) training designed with your athlete in mind. Every session is tailored to the individual’s ability and developmental stage to challenge the muscular, neurological, connective tissue, and cardiovascular systems safely and effectively. Typical workouts emphasize faster reaction times, quicker decision-making, and refined running mechanics through targeted speed drills. Where appropriate for age and readiness, plyometric work is added to support muscular power and explosiveness. Sessions run about 50 minutes and begin with a brief dynamic warm-up to prime the body for peak performance.
