2 years coaching middle and high school aged throwers. I specialize in teaching throwers the spin technique in both the shot and Discus. I can and am willing to coach and train athletes of all ages and skill levels.

I competed in Shot Put and Discus at Cornell University. Cornell is a Division program in the Ivy League Division. I hold the 8th all time best Discus throw in Cornell’s 151 year history.

Each athlete is different. At the first session I will examine the athletes body type and natural abilities and techniques. I strongly believe that with the proper techniques each athlete can throw farther. We will do a lot of footwork to break bad technical habits. Once technique improves we will get a lot of throwing in so that the new techniques will sink into the athletes muscle memory. If athletes are interested in weight training I will give them a full season weight room and conditioning plan.
