More About Coach Cam
I have completed over 10,000 hours of baseball lessons over the course of the last eight years. I have trained ages 5-35 at varying levels of skill ranging from rec ball to professional. I primarily teach hitting, but am well versed in all aspects of the game. I formally taught my lessons with D-BAT where I was nominated for instructor of the year in 2021.
3 Year Varsity High School at Woodstock High School. 4th in Batting Average in County with All County Honors. 4 Year College Starting Outfielder. Gold Glove award Senior Year. I Competed at Andrew College (JUCO) and Truett McConnell University (NAIA).
My foundational principles revolve most around bio mechanics. Good hitters need to be good movers first. We learn how to sequence our body in order to make a good move towards the ball. Video analysis is a pillar of my work. We frame by frame our swings to see where breakdowns are. We talk and learn and think critically about why we move the way we move. We learn how to hit with a linear path working gap to gap.
