We work towards improving the mental conditioning, self confidence, motivation and discipline of our athletes.

Prior to any training, each athlete undergo pre-conditioning test and evaluation to gauge current fitness and basketball levels, formulate goals, and have questions or concerns answered. Pre/Post testing allows me to properly design a program that maximize performance and monitor improvement.

Warm up:
Carioca, high knee, butt kickers, lateral run, power skip, backward run

Basketball:
Triple Threat- Direct line drive with front & reverse pivot
Ball handling- Dribble/jump stop/pivot & pass, ball handling with chairs- step aways, cross overs
Shooting- 1 & 2 dribble pull up jump shots ( mid range game 15-20 ft.)
Post play- Mikan/Reverse Mikan, Power lay ups, Drop Step, Face Up, Push & Shove

Speed & agility Drills:
Ladder, Dots, Plyometrics( box & broad jumps), lane slides & shuffle, close out, zig zag
Speed & agility- Ladder, Dots, Plyometrics (box & broad jumps), lane slides & shuffle, line drills w/wo jump ropes

Coach McCoy is excellent at evaluating players and teaching them how to play the game the right way! Not only did he teach them the physical skills but he worked on the mental toughness as well!! Calvin is a great coach, not only does he knows how to improve my sons game physically , he also understands what it takes to prepare for every practice and game mentally(mental toughness).
