I have a 3 step training model.

(1) I like to incorporate drills that target improving a client's speed, agility, explosiveness.

(2) go through improving basic player skills (ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, and defending), and then.

(3) move into more position specific/advanced individual moves drills (spot up shooting, shooting on the move, driving to score/pass, pick and roll, pick and pop, floaters, reverses, euro steps, etc.).

My drills are specifically to get you better prepared for games, to improve your situationally awareness, and to make you a better player, not better at doing drills.

He made an appointment for a basketball training for my son.When we met in the inside gym, we couldn't use that gym because there was a basketball game.He didn't make sure if he could use that gym before the training. After that day I couldn't get in touch with him. He didn't respond to my text and voicemail and my call.

Thats EXCELLENT stuff right there! Game ready drills. I see a lot of trainers making the mistake of teaching drills. The student athlete gets into a game, and plays as if he/she is drilling. No application as you stated earlier. Beginners need to drill...ballers need to be ready to ball
