More About Coach Caleb
I have coached both middle school and high school. I have run camps in the US and in New Zealand for kids elementary through high school. I have also coached/trained with both school teams and AAU teams.
Whether you're an elementary player learning fundamentals or a high schooler chasing a college roster spot, I'll meet you where you are, identify the gaps holding you back, and build a plan to close them.
Played Division I college basketball at IU Indy, earning my spot as a sophomore after arriving on campus with no plans to play then graduated in just 2.5 years. Before college, I led my AAU team in scoring, earned all-academic state honors as a junior and senior, and received the Indiana Kiwanis Scholarship for basketball. My path wasn't the typical five-star route, and that's exactly why I coach the way I do: I know what it takes to earn a spot when nothing is handed to you.
We'll start with a quick warm-up and skill-specific ball handling, then spend the bulk of the session on focused work from form shooting , finishing, footwork, or whatever we've identified as the priority. Every drill has a purpose and every rep is game speed. I will always send athletes home knowing exactly what to work on before our next session.
