Coached for 2 years under Bob Stoops as a GA. Coached HS for 9 years, the last 6 as Coweta's Head Football Coach. 2008 5A-4 District coach of the year. Coached 7 All State player while at Coweta.

All District and All Conference offensive lineman as a Senior at Mustang HS. Walked On at OU. Earned a scholarship after 2 seasons. Started 3 seasons for more than 30 games. 4 year letter winner. Co-Captain of the 2000 National Championship Team.
