More About Coach Bronwyn
When I nervously took my first yoga class, years ago, I had no idea how big of an impact it would have on my life. As a former ballerina I was aware of the physical benefits, but once I began to experience the mental benefits I knew I absolutely had to share it with others. As a dedicated instructor and coach, my aim is to help students of all levels and body types achieve their goals and bring more physical and mental balance to their lives.
I have completed over 800 hours of Yoga Alliance teacher trainings and have additional certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Yoga Therapy for Mental Health. I've also completed courses in the Science of Behavior Change and Coaching Psychology at Harvard University. Depending on the client, I am happy to teach classes varying from relaxing/restorative to more athletic/physically demanding.
Currently, I am pursuing my graduate degree in Mind-Body Medicine with a focus on psychophysiology and integrative wellness coaching. I'm always looking for ways to grow as a teacher so that I can continue to provide my clients with the best quality of instruction possible!
Starting at the age of five, I spent 20 years vigorously training in classical ballet. As a yoga teacher, I've not only worked with injured athletes but I've had to recover through several of my own. Coupled with my background in performance psychology and yoga therapy, I am uniquely equipped to help with a variety of physical ailments and improving overall functionality.
My favorite part about private lessons is that it really is all about what the client wants. I've created chair yoga sequences for those with limited mobility, stress relief programs for busy students and professionals, intensive conditioning programs for athletes, and even pre-wedding classes for bridal parties.
Even if you're unsure about what you're looking we can work together to uncover the practice that will best align with your goals. After our initial intake-session there will always be time for feedback to refine and hone in on the best practice for your needs.
