I completed my yoga teacher training through CorePower Yoga and have continued to take various other intensives and training courses to continue my education. I have taught all levels from beginner to advanced and I am certified to teach hot yoga. Age groups it typically work with range from 23-45. I have my 200hr certified yoga trainer and am registered with yoga alliance as well as personal insurance.

I played many sports my whole life but specially trained in soccer in my youth and college career. I most recently ran the 2019 Los Angeles marathon and taught myself how to train and prepare.

I begin class with breathing exercises, then moving into standing series flows for 20 minutes. This is where we begin to loosen tight muscles by engagement. I also offer hands on adjustments and assists to prevent injury or to deepen a posture. I use "intelligent sequencing" which means I focus on planning a class around what muscles need to be open and strong to achieve a peak posture towards the end of the session so the posture is easier to access. I believe this is the most efficient way to prevent injury while getting into some more challenging poses. The last 10 minutes of our session will be a cool down of stretches that counteract the movements we previously did. Then the final savanasa where it is time to melt your mind and body away for a few minutes.
