More About Coach Brian
I currently hold a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer certificate. I have spent the past 3 years working in both physical therapy as an exercise specialist, and working in Denver as a personal trainer at Core Progression Elite Personal Training helping athletes and people of all ages regain strength, speed, and agility. Lacrosse is a huge passion of mine and I love working with young athletes to help them take their lacrosse game to the next level!
When I lived in Massachusetts I played varsity lacrosse for 3 years, becoming the captain of my team at Sandwich High School (funny name I know) and earning multiple Atlantic Coast League first team All-Star awards. I then attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and played 3 years of club lacrosse on the A team, becoming one of the highest scoring midfielders.
My sessions always start with a full body warmup to make sure the athlete's body is ready for movement. During the session we will work on a mixture of speed, agility, strength, and the fundamentals of lacrosse including shooting, passing, catching, cradling, and footwork. Each client will get instant feedback about their form and ways they can improve their game. Most importantly I love to keep my sessions fast paced and fun! Building confidence in your abilities and skills allows the athletes to love the game even more, and makes showing your skills during game day that much more fun!
