More About Coach Brian

Currently, I operate the Brian Taylor Offensive Line Academy. At the academy, I personally train multiple college, high school and youth Offensive Lineman from around Northeast Ohio. Colleges our athletes attend include Kent State, Wilmington College, Allegheny College and many more. Local High Schools that our athletes attend include Strongsville, Brunswick, Buckeye and St.Edward's. My previous Coaching experience includes serving as a 7th grade football coach at Willett's Middle School, and a Offensive Line Coaching Assistant at Taylor University.

I played as an Offensive Lineman for 10 years. I played Left Tackle at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Ohio, where I was team-voted Offensive Line MVP.

After my senior year, I signed a football scholarship to attend Taylor University in Upland, Indiana where I played Center, Guard and Tackle.

Over my 4 years of college football, I was a 2-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Athlete Honor Society.

Our sessions focus on all facets of Offensive Line Play including footwork, balance, hand placement and punch, pass protection, run-blocking and much more. Most of our exercises are done by using resistance bands anchored to a wall. We also have multiple pieces of equipment from LeCharles Bentley, Owner of O-Line Performance in Arizona, where many NFL Offensive Lineman train. Although our sessions vary depending on the age, skill and needs of our athletes, the workouts are composed of selections from over 100 drills following a session plan including:
-A dynamic/resistance band warm-up
- Foot speed and agility drills
- Hand speed drills
- O-Line Punch Training
-Balance Training
-Pass Protection Skill
-Hip Explosion
-Run-Blocking Technique
-Much More!

There is also an option to train for speed and agility at Xpress Sports Training, where I am the Head Trainer. For more information, please visit http://www.catchthex.com/

Thank you very much for the effort you put in with giving my son some ideas for better technique he can use on the offensive line. It fills my heart with you being such an exceptional role model and coach to him. Thank you very, very much.
