I have been a Middle School and High School Cross Country and Track and Field coach for 8 years. During that time my athletes have had great success in accomplishing their goals and attaining new personal records.

A client can expect a complete program designed to help them achieve their running goals. My primary focus is on proper bio mechanics and running form to improve running ability and reduce the risk of injury. My training programs are designed to increase the athletes tolerance and ability to sustain their goal race pace.
Training sessions begin with an explanation of the what and why of the workout. My goal is for the athlete to understand the purpose and end objective of the workout. Next the athlete will have a dynamic warm up that incorporates drills and exercise designed to increase mobility, activate muscles involved in running, and attend to the proper mechanism and movement patterns for running. Next the athlete will begin their principle workout. Throughout this workout I provide positive reinforcement and feedback regarding their performance in the workout. I will also monitor the performance and make any necessary adjustments to the workout. Following the principle workout my athletes will go through a cool down designed to improve mobility and enhance recovery. Additionally during this time I will debrief the athlete on their performance during the principle workout and reinforce how this workout will enable them to reach their goal.
