More About Coach Brian

I have been coaching for over 25 years. I have spent time coaching youth through high school athletes in Soccer, Track and Field, and Football. I have spent the last 19 years as a teacher and education for Ector County ISD, Leander ISD, and currently Comal ISD.

I played college soccer at the University of Texas Permian Basin, where I was a four year starter, 2 year team captain, 2 year All - conference player. As a coach I have coached in 4 state championship games.

A typical session will depend on what the athlete is trying to improve on. As a beginner I would start with basic fundamentals of movement, running form, jumping, bounding to get a baseline of ability. As we progress the drills or technique would be specific to that athlete. For a soccer player we would work with ball control and passing ability before we moved on to shooting or long range passing. For a football player we would on position specific footwork and reads before we transitioned to drills for tackling.
