More About Coach Brianna
I am currently in my third year as an assistant varsity girls coach at a 1A program. I have trained both boys and girls K-12 in small groups and also one on one. Coached AAU middle school girls as well! I am currently working on getting my Masters in Sports Leadership as well as studying to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
I grew up around the sport of basketball. I played AAU from the age of 6 and traveled throughout the US. I played 4 years of 4A Varsity Basketball at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN. Nominated and played in the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60, City Securities Hall of Fame Classic All Tourney Team, Sectional Champ, County Champ, All County Team, and more. I went on to play a year at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology before transferring to the University of Indianapolis and getting injured while walking on.
As a client, you can expect the question of what do YOU want to work on. What do you want to get better at? Being able to notice and diagnose your game is as important as being able to follow drills. I always will start with form shooting and move on from there. Incorporating cone work with 1v1 decision making is crucial to be able to transfer practice into games. At the end of the day, you get out what you put in. I’m willing and ready to help you in anyway I can to not only improve your skills but to confidently use them.
